“Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? ”
Matthew 7:9 NKJV
Our Heavenly Father knows how to give us good gifts.
He embraces our strengths, but also our imperfections.
I saw a Pokémon shirt for sale during Amazon Prime day, and I decided to order a boy’s size small for my 8-year-old son. When it came, I thought it looked a little small and considered returning it, but he tried it on, and it fit, so he said he liked it. He will probably outgrow it in a few months, but for now, it made him happy.
Today, my son and I made banana chocolate chip muffins together. When I took them out of the oven, a few of them looked a little too brown, but when I tried one, it tasted good.
Not everything has to be perfect.
We can acknowledge our imperfections and still accept them.
Not everything needs to be fixed.
Nothing is impossible for God.
We, with our limited thinking, need not envision limitations for God.
Nothing is too complicated for God.
He’s got this.
Amen.
