I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope.
Psalms 16:7-9 NKJV
Late at night, the house is quiet.
Those precious, quiet hours are beautiful times to connect with the Lord in prayer.
We can talk to Him through prayer, and He listens.
He will give us peace, not as the world gives, but a profound peace that only stillness with Him can give.
Studying His Word, spending time and prayer, and writing down our thoughts can restore us.
We can find rest for our souls in Him.
Then the next morning, we can wake up and feel restored as the daylight shines on our faces.
Amen.
