About Gina Noel Decker

Gina Decker is a systems‑builder, a teacher at heart, and a leader who brings clarity to complex environments. Her career spans higher education, technical training, and grant‑funded program support, where she has helped organizations strengthen documentation, streamline workflows, and make smarter decisions through thoughtful data analysis.

Gina joined Idaho State University’s Idaho Building Capacity Project in Fall 2021, bringing with her more than a decade of experience in higher education administration. She quickly became a key contributor, improving statewide invoicing systems, documenting complex processes with clarity, and supporting teams through her talent for learning new systems and optimizing workflows through technology.

Her academic foundation began at the University of Nevada, Reno, where she graduated at the top of her class with a B.A. in Music and English Composition and was honored as a Senior Scholar by the College of Liberal Arts. She later earned her M.A. in Educational Administration, graduating summa cum laude after researching college accreditation. Her early career as a registrar and analyst strengthened her expertise in technical writing, compliance, and process improvement. She also coached individuals in building WordPress websites, further developing her ability to translate complex systems into accessible learning experiences.

At SkillPath, Gina teaches Microsoft Excel® with a blend of empathy, humor, and real‑world practicality—helping learners who once felt intimidated by spreadsheets become confident, capable power users.

Gina’s background includes registrar leadership, data analysis, technical coaching, and student support. She is also a classical pianist and the author of six books, including a growing collection of prayer journals that reflect her love of faith, family, and education.
