Prayer Praise: Day 74

Song of Solomon 2:13 NKJV
[13] The fig tree puts forth her green figs, And the vines with the tender grapes Give a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away!

Sometimes we need a vacation, a restorative break from our busy schedules.

We need to laugh.

We need to feel the sunshine on our faces.

We need to breathe.

When we’re on the go all the time, we can easily get burnt out.

God doesn’t want us to run on empty.

He fills us with love, kindness, and mercy.

We may feel compelled to stay busy, but when illness comes, we have no choice but to slow down.

We need not crash land into the Sabbath.

God made the Sabbath for us so we could rest.
