Proverbs 18:24 NKJV
[24] A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

When Jesus becomes the center of our existence, we begin to see the world differently.

We can thank Him for giving us a clean slate and a renewed heart and mind.

He can show us how to soften our hearts so that we can let go of resentment.

He forgave us.

We can forgive others and recognize that if people don’t respond to our kindness, that is fine. They may not have the capacity to do better.

We do not need to carry those burdens with us.

Jesus set us free.

Amen.
