Prayer Praise: Day 52

II Corinthians 9:15 NKJV
[15] Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

Jesus Christ provided atonement for our sins.

Not one of us is without sin, even if we would like to think we are following God’s law.

Not one of us can say we are perfect, without blemish.

We can’t cover our own sins, no matter how hard we try.

God’s grace goes beyond our understanding.

His mercy covers more than we could imagine.

His love transcends the trouble in this world.

His sacrifice will carry us through whatever obstacles we may face.

We don’t need to earn His love, but we can humbly accept His mercy and try to do better.

When I was in high school, I joined the JROTC color guard. We would lower the flag at the command, “present colors,” but when the squad included members of the rifle team, the command changed to “present arms” if I remember correctly.

Jesus protected us. He fought the battle for us. He bore the “arms” without hurting a single soul.

The least we can do is thank Him for leading our squad.
