Isaiah 43:18-19 NKJV
[18] “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. [19] Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.
The new year presents an opportunity to let go of what no longer serves us.
God is creating something new.
We can let go of the past hurts, memories, and experiences.
Clearing out the negativity allows us to make room for new, fresh experiences.
We don’t need to keep record of what went wrong.
After a tree sheds its leaves, it doesn’t put back on the old, moldy fallen leaves. It grows new leaves.
Each new day is a new beginning.
Amen.
