Prayer Praise: Day 42

John 16:7 NKJV
[7] Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

Jesus knew that His disciples would mourn when He left, but He sent them the Holy Spirit to help and comfort them.

The Holy Spirit is just a prayer away whenever we need Him.

We might not always hear the Holy Spirit’s voice if other things distract us.

Quiet time with the Lord is essential to restore our body, mind, and spirit.

When we are exhausted, we must rest.

If we’re awake in the middle of the night despite being exhausted during the day, we can take that opportunity to ask God what He is telling us.

We can use those quiet moments to connect with our Savior.

When we do, we can receive the help we need.

We don’t need to make a vision board. We don’t need to hire a coach. We don’t need to set a New Year’s resolution.

We can simply have an honest conversation with the Lord and ask Him to direct us.

Everything else will fall into place.
