Santa and Jesus are not the same.

I was explaining this concept to my seven-year-old son the other day.

When we pray to God, we don’t just ask for toys we want for Christmas the way we would write a letter to Santa.

Sometimes we can ask God what He wants us to do for Him.

It’s a two-way relationship.

God is generous and merciful and is the best friend we could confide in, but He also is our Savior.

He is much more powerful than Santa.
