Proverbs 27:18 NKJV
[18] Whoever keeps the fig tree will eat its fruit; So he who waits on his master will be honored.

We don’t often encounter fig trees during our day-to-day experiences, but when we do, it could bring good luck.

Difficult seasons might turn around and transition into positive learning experiences.

I visited a church today that had a beautiful fig tree in the front yard.

Next to it was a sign with Proverbs 27:18 on it.

I had been wondering what kind of fruit tree it was, but when I saw the sign beneath it, I immediately recognized it as a fig tree.

Sometimes, when we look at our lives from a single perspective, we blind ourselves to other possibilities. It might take a sign, literal or figurative, to shift our thinking.

God has the power to transform our minds and renew our spirits.

He places those signs in front of us just when we need them.

His blessings are no coincidence. He has a plan to save us. We can trust that a blessing could be right around the corner.

Amen.
