Prayer Praise: Day 21

John 8:12 NIV
[12] When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

When I was in high school JROTC, my teacher used to say, “To be a good leader, you have to be a good follower.”

Children, for better or worse, follow our example.

They say the things we say.

They do the things we do.

Except when they don’t.

We can choose to follow God’s direction or not. When we don’t, He doesn’t punish us forever. He lets us repent and start over.

If we make mistakes, it’s because we’re human. We can try again another day.
